01. Mode of Action
- Zinc Phosphide reacts with acid and moisture in rodents stomach to release phosphine gas which kills the rodents.
02. Features
- It has broad spectrum and hence helps to control many rodent species.
- Most economical and ideal for mass scale use during rodent outbreaks.
- Approved for rodent control in agricultural, commercial and residential areas.
- No CODEX MRL as the residues in food are insignificant or practically nonexistent.
- Phosphine rapidly degrades into phosphates and does not persist.
- Steadily decomposes in field conditions thereby reducing long-term hazards.
- No genetic resistance or tolerance noticed despite its use for more than 60 years.
